East Los Angeles is home to some of the most unique and diverse people in the nation. Mexican-Americans have often been misrepresented and misunderstood by the perspectives of non-Anglo-Mexicans and the American people. I encourage all of us to recognize how our privilege can become a challenge when our lineage is not fully understood.

This site is to help promote White Fence from a positive window of opportunity. To uplift the hearts in the ghetto of East Los Angeles and to provide hope and encouragement through humility, empathy, lack of entitlement, and hard work.
